Kisbey’s history

Kisbey is a village in southeastern Saskatchewan, in the Rural Municipality of Brock No. 64. It incorporated as a village on May 8, 1907.

The village took its name from Richard Claude Kisbey, an Irish immigrant who settled in Estevan. He died in 1941.

Today Kisbey's local ice rink is home to the Arcola/Kisbey Combines, a team in the senior men's Big 6 Hockey League.
